This week we worked on....

...penpal letters for a group of children at a church school in England...

...bracelets for kids at an orphanage in Guatemala...

Jessie shared a song that she's been singing at school, and it really fits in with what we do at Trinity Tweens.

We have a new world map hanging on our bulletin board. We will be putting pins on every place that we send cards or gifts. We've already put many up. Check it out!

...thinking of you cards for a boy and girl who just lost their father.....

...Happy Spring cards for some of the Hug a Bug kids...

...and a comfort quilt for Vi, who is undergoing treatments for cancer.

We made more squares for Vi's blanket.

Today is a sad day at our church. We learned of the passing of one of our much loved past ministers. Padre Hopkins was at our church from 1984-1994, which was before most of the tweens were born. These are picture of Padre with Nicole on her Baptism in 1993.

We traced our hands as a symbol of reaching out, and wrote the names of people we've been praying for on them.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIMMY!!

We had delicious cupcakes to celebrate Jimmy's birthday today. His sister, Jessie, had a banner for everyone to sign. Jimmy was thrilled!!

We made cards to send to Padre's wife and children.

Since we began in September, we have been following and supporting Jacob. He lives in Florida, and he is battling cancer. Jacob is in the hospital and not doing very well right now. We made cards to send to the hospital, and they all have frogs on them. Jacob has frogs on his website, because FROG means FULLY RELY ON GOD. We want Jacob and his family to know that we are always praying for them!

Today we found out that Kathy, one of our helpers, broke her foot. We all made her cards, and then walked to her home to give them to her. We all got to sign her cast!
